We had a game with another Fraternity on campus. For one week, the brothers of our Fraternity would attempt to kidnap one of the Brothers in the other Fraternity and vice versa. When one of the Brothers would be captured, they would be held for ransom, and the ransom was generally two bottles of expensive liquor. I was on my way to class wearing a pair of Levi's, a button down shirt and tie and my white Adidas Cloudfoam Sneakers, when some guys of the rival Frat grabbed me off the street. They took me to their Fraternity house, cuffed me to a chair, and made a Zoom call to my Fraternity Brothers. The ransom was two bottles of Johnny Walker Blue Scotch Whiskey to be paid off to the other Fraternity for my release.
My Brothers decided that I would be their captive for a while.
After about three hours my Fraternity Brothers paid off the bet. I would be taken to a bedroom and cuffed to the head board while the guys who had captured me went out to collect the ransom liquor.
When they returned, I was released, but the game was still on for six more days.
